A)  What is hazard perception test app?

The hazard perception test app is an iPhone/iPod touch application which measures a driver's ability to anticipate and appropriately respond to potentially dangerous situations while driving. The app imitates the real test format designed by Driving Standards Agency.

B) How does it work?

This application contains several clips produced by Driving Standards Agency and each clip will contain one or more developing hazards. Single tap as soon you identify a potential hazard. Every time you tap, a flag will appear at the bottom to indicate that your tap has been recorded.

C) How can I review my reaction to a hazard?

Review screen displays your  reaction to the hazard. The red pointer tell you the location when you tapped on the screen with respect to time line, and The red circle indicates the actual hazard.

  

D) How the scoring mechanism works?   

The green zone gives you 5 points, purple zone 4 points, yellow zone 3 points, orange zone 2 points, red zone just 1 point. Tapping before or after the hazard zone give you zero point.
